A Printing/Binding Update

Hi Antiquity Grey Backers,
Just a short update since I know some of you are wondering.
The files for both books are at the printer. The printer should be giving me an update soon about where I stand in their queue. Unfortunately, files don't go to the printer and they print the next day. There are other projects ahead of mine sadly that will get finished first. So I wait... we wait... and I hope they do the job correctly.
Then the printed book blocks will go to the bindery, where there is usually a lesser wait time. Fingers crossed that remains true.
Meanwhile, I have all of the merch goodies ready to ship out. Can't wait to get these books into your hands!

Jak Dreadth Is ALIVE! And Antiquity Grey Ebook Coming Your Way!

Dear Friendly Neighborhood Backers,
Last week, I sent out the e-novella for The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth. I hope you are enjoying it!
In that spirit, I just put the novella up for sale on Amazon, B&N, and Kobo, to promote and in preparation for the trade hardcover, widley-distributed publication of The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey on September 7th. I hope some people will read the novella early, enjoy it, and want more of that world. It all comes down to reviews and marketing at this point and I hope you'll join me for that ride!
Many of you have asked how you can review these books. I love that kind of support because reader reviews really do sway new readers who don't know an author's work. Those of you who are so inclined, feel free to review The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth now on one of the three ebook platforms. Here are the direct links to those page:

Now, on to another bit of news. The final ebook of The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey is coming to you today too. It is the fully-edited version -- the best version, really. It also features the names of those who supported my Kickstarter. Was kind of neat putting all of that together. You guys are a community I'm so happy to be a part of!

Update & Ebook Delivery: The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth

Hi My Faithful Backers!
First, the bad news update. The physical books will not be delivered this month as promised. Mostly because I completely forgot the signature pages needed! Ugh. The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth sig pages are finished -- there were only two signers -- but The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey sig pages are making their way back to me soonish. They are being signed by five people. You can blame me for this: I should have sent the signature pages out three months ago and absolutely forgot. No excuse for it. So apologies.
Now, if you haven't thrown your computer across the room from that news and don't hate me too much, on to the fun stuff:
Those of you who ordered tiers with the ebook for The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth are getting that reward today. I just put the final touches on the prequel novella ebook. PS: Because I screwed up those signature pages, here is the first page from my current work in progress. It is a grimdark story for a forthcoming grimdark anthology. And no, it is not related to Rothfuss's work. When I come up with a better title, I will change it. Ha!

A quick note. Just letting you know that I received edits for The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth today. So I'll be working on those this week and wrapping the novella up. Yay!

Antiquity Update & New Terry Brooks Kickstarter

Hi Grey Backers!
A few things to update and an announcement!
First, I have fully edited, copyedited, and proofed The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey. All art is in too. It is a fully designed book now and this coming week I will be getting estimates for printing to meet the April delivery. Yay!
Second, I've finished writing The Undone Life of Jak Dreadth. It is long, much longer than I had anticipated but I doubt any of you will not like that. It is 32,000 words, a mid-range novellaw (or 1/3 of a full novel). The novella is with my editor and I hope to have edits back next week. I will turn them around quickly, proof the book, and then we will design the book and get it sent to the printer as well!
In the meantime, I've been getting deliveries of merchandise. Here is a picture of what has come in so far:
I'm still working on figuring out a book of some sort for you to hold your coins in. More details on that in the future!
